Help Getting Started

Welcome to Twitter Groups!

If you are familiar with Wordpress or have used it before, setting up your new Twitter Group should be a breeze!

If you haven’t used Wordpress before, fear not! Just follow the following simple steps:

1. Create your group

2.  Login to your new Group.

3. Once inside, click on Please Update your Twitter Tools settings

4. Go to the resulting Twitter Tools page

5. Enter your Twitter username/password. (Don’t click on Test Login Info just yet)

6. Check options to post automatically to Twitter and to receive and convert Tweets into blog posts.

7. Update settings

8. Click on Test Login Info to confirm your connection.

9. Go to Posts menu on your left hand navigation, anad select Add new.

10. Make you first post, and see it pop up in Twitter!

We’ll be adding tons of new features and advice so say tuned!

Extra tips:

Enable Sociable plugin from the Plugins menu. This will allow you to feature social networking widgets on your blog, thereby integrating Twitter with things like Digg and Reddit!
